I hate when im reading/watching/playing something and the conflict essentially boils down to this

A stick figure at a desk with a pencil and paper says "nononono, im an absolute ethics master, check this out"

The stick figure writes "whatever the law says" and smiles smugly

It's a tragedy that the remastered versions deprived us of these change disc screens

The "change to disc 2" graphic for Final Fantasy 9, featuring protagonists Zidane and Garnet/Dagger looking off to the distance, as well as previews for cutscenes in disc 2

Has anyone posted the lesbian pride flag with a labrys (i prefer the version without the black triangle)

The lesbian pride flag with a symbol of the labrys, meant to symbolize the Amazons of Greek myth

This version does not have the black triangle associated with the flag, as it was used to oppress the Romani people during the holocaust

Yeah they are straight up a reference

From the Cyberpunk fandom wiki in the trivia section for Barghest

They are named after the Barghest, a mythical monstrous dog.

Barghests were among the first enemies in The Witcher, a previous CD Projekt RED game, and sported a similar yellow-green color.

I've been reading the graphic novel adaptation of Animorphs by @grinetastic.bsky.social and it's really good! The Capture was one of my favorites in the series as a kid and I was not disappointed at all The depiction of what being controlled by a Yeerk is exactly what I visualized.

2 versions of the same character stand in a white void. One of them is an alien parasite controlling him.
Controller: "it shocks you that I can play your thoughts back for you. Your brain is no different to me than one of your primitive human computers. I open any file I like, I play any software. I use you. I own you. I dominate you. You're nothing anymore. Just an echo. Just a ghost haunting the machine of your own brain!"

The possessed character replies: "Yeah? Well you're a screwup tied up in a cabin in the woods. In 3 days, you're dead."
