I have a strict rule to not interact with negative reviews/reviewers. But my goodness it is a struggle sometimes to hold my tongue because not every trans experience is the same experience, and that doesn't make one or the other 'right' or 'wrong.'

According to Goodreads, if you enjoyed any of these books, you'll also enjoy the Full Moon Problem! Or vis versa!

The Full Moon Problem by Kay Claire, pointing to text reading "books readers also enjoyed according to Goodreads". Books shown: A Bone in His Teeth by Kellen Graves, The Flowered Blade by Taylor Hubbard, Under the Dragon Moon by Mawce Hanlin
, Under the Lupine Moon by A. Knightley, Gratification in Gluttony by Nik Knight, A Spell for Heartsickness by Alistair Reeves

Multilingual medieval furniture dictionary

It is very useful to have the names of medieval furniture items for research (for instance on internet) in several languages. The list below is a first attempt to create a multilingual furniture dictionary for the Middle Ages. As furniture terms were not used very strictly, it is impossible to attach one name to one furniture type. Many names are used for several types. The list includes names used in medieval times as well those used today for these furniture types. The list below is incomplete - I do not have the names of the items in all languages - so any help is highly appreciated (add a comment, I will add to the dictionary). I have started with medieval seating types (800-1500 AD) and included as well a simple drawing of each type.

There is one type of chair, which is commonly found in miniatures, and of which some examples exist in musea, where I could not find a specific name. It looks like a half-round chair with a backrest

Image of two men standing side to side, with one kissing the hand of the other who gazes fondly at him.

The one kissing the hand is Aspen. He's got short blonde hair that frames his face. The other is Orion, an elven man with long black hair that's tied up in a ponytail.

Ways to get free books without pirating them! 🖤

Graphic reads: Read indie authors!
Many indie authors will post about looking for ARC
Readers or post about having their books on sale/for free.
Ideally we would be supporting indie authors by buying their books but not everyone is in a position to. A great way to support them is to post reviews, help promote their books and engage on social media” with logos of Blue Sky, TikTok and Instagram

Graphic reads: "But its a digital book and it doesn't cost the author anything so its not like I'm stealing from them"
"Its like I'm just borrowing the book from a friend since I wouldn't be buying it anyways"
"I am poor so I can only read books if I pirate them"
"I'll promote the author's work to make up for stealing it."

Pirating books hurts authors

Pirating impacts
publishing deal renewals.
It prevents indie authors from getting trad published or audiobook deals.
Stealing an author's book is saying "I like it but not enough to pay you for your
work.
It prevents authors from being able to post their works to places like Kindle Unlimited

It strongly discourages authors from continuing to write because readers don't value their work or respect them enough to actually support them.
I don't really know how else to explain why stealing an author's work isn't okay. There are so many things people say to justify it but at the end of the day your favorite author is being harmed by piracy.
