It was all shits and giggles between buds (mostly from tagalong Veir's direction) until the owner informed Sawyer that the bounty he came to accept,one with a fairly high reward, was just taken by someone behind him. The stranger sat nonchalantly at a table, empty glass off to the side of the coveted bounty letter.

Not only were the travelers faced with opportunity loss, but the old guy's a freak, too- a mutant. The spurned merc's hand hovered over his revolver, self control and patience waning. The journey was too damn long and too damn hazardous for this shit.

Veir was not paying attention for a good minute until the bar fell totally silent and Sawyer's usual (fairly curt) responses had totally fallen off.

The mutie had taken note of the unrest with a side eye, placing his hat back upon his head and draping an arm around his rifle in a display of cool fearlessness.

She didn't really know whether to cheer bro on or hold him back.. follow instinct (incite chaos) or be "responsible" (boring!! Boo!!) ?

Not exactly the most difficult choice for either of them. Maybe they'll wait until outside the bar this time.

I think Relámpago would have something "frank but wise" to say about not burning bridges you haven't yet built in order to get to a place you can't even yet see or some shit like that haha. Dude's on his own vengeance quest and he's not about to stop his roll to assuage a stranger, so that's probably the most he'd do unless it was escalated. ||
