Did not expect the Silent Hill 2 remake to have the mannequins be the most terrifying enemy of the game but I shriek every time one of those bastards scurries last a door I’m looking at.

Me watching eps 1-7 of the new Goosebumps series: “wonder why they cast Justin Long in this role?” Me watching ep 8: “Oh, that’s why”

I sometimes think I unfairly malign the Midwest, but literally within 5 min of telling someone here in Michigan that I’m from AZ she complains “my son goes to ASU and there’s so many Latinos there…”

5 years ago my script Dagon was a Fresh Blood Select on the Blood List. It’s still my favorite project despite having numerous producers assure me it’ll never get made.

I’m still trying to decide how I felt about Slotherhouse. On the one hand, it scratched every b-movie itch I had, but on the other the sloth knows how to drive, use the internet, and text so mayyybe could have done with less? Still worth a watch on Hulu.

Is there 17 min with more laughs than S2 E1 of I Think You Should Leave? “Lunch Meeting”, “Little Buff Boys”, “Prank Show”, and “Ghost Tour” all in the same episode. My go to view when I need laughs.

I really dug Totally Killer on Amazon Prime! If you liked it as well I also recommend The Final Girls, which is another slasher featuring time travel and a wonderful mother-daughter relationship.
