I know that feeling! You can get so stuck on what you had in mind, that when it doesnt match its disheartening. But ceramics is very much a "sometimes the paint does surpring things!" I find its a great exercise in wabi-sabi.

Nothing is stitching, oh, the bobbin ran out, that's easy to fix. So I fill up the bobbin, only to find I have the same problem now on the other end. 😂
