1/3 - something i made for autism acceptance day/month

Autism* is (still) me
A ??? by ELBOW
*and all that other stuff

My brain is a giant MUSH.
I try and compartmentalise everything.
Compartmentalising a giant mush is hard.

What goes where?
What if something is multiple things?
I try to sort it.

I try to help each box of goop.
Focus on different parts at different times
But once I seem to get one thing stable,
another thing grows
because it's all linked

Meeting my lifelong hero, Dav Pilkey

Dav Pilkey looking and pointing at the card I gave him while I look dumbstruck

Dav Pilkey and I smiling for the camera while he holds up the card I made for him

@neilcic.com did you know/ever remember that your clips were featured in a CBBC show called Chute! in 2007? The show was lost media at one point! I wonder if they asked permission for the videos haha

Merry Christmas from your favourite festive nemeses!

Professor Genius and Captain Coolness are dressed for the cold, and are tying up the awfully Christmas-tree-looking Dr Dolots in tinsel.

Some bits for Neo Steals the Show, one of my ‘not your favourite nemesis’ stories

A giant Meena the blue rabbit holds a smaller Neo the pink alien cat in her palm, with lyrics from Charli XCX’s Von Dutch

References for my musician characters Sean the Lizard and Ewan the dog

It’s deadline day so of course I chose to use a new lineart brush, colouring style, making my life way harder etc.

First page of a uni assigned comic - character design and comic prompt was ‘mystery high’

Second and last page of comic. Will transcribe when I have time! I still have more to do! Help!

Painted some bricks at uni today - was a nice thing to get me out of my room :-)

A white brick painted with a red/yellow explosion pattern, with my characters Captain Coolness and Professor Genius within the explosion.

A white brick with K.K. Slider’s face painted on.

My stuff for my market stall is all ready! I’m so excited!

A box with grid dividers filled with prints, posters and keychains with art by myself.

The stickers and keychains include designs featuring Baby Bill, Nintendogs, Pikmin, Minecraft, and a cat. The prints include art of Off the Hook from Splatoon, Ampharos from Pokémon, Animal Crossing characters, Baby Bowser from Yoshi’s Island, and more which are hidden behind.

Welcome to Boundary Break where we can take the camera anywhere we want (I found the Monster House ep where they make the house then used in Dr. Horrible)
