The only Leinster county never to have won Leinster. For us, every rare trip to Croke Park was cherished like the birth of a new born child. Today, the Wicklow renaissance has begun!! Our pub in West Wicklow will run dry tonight and instead be filled with tears of JOY. 💙💛

Congratulations to the 194 Gardaí and 17 reserves who were attested in Templemore today. The wet conditions failed to diminish the immense pride expressed by the families present. This was the Commissioner’s first salute in Templemore since he began his new role.

Good work must be recognised, poor performance addressed and accountability must be consistent. This requires a solid, meaningful performance management system

My deepest condolences to the family, friends & colleagues of Garda Kevin Flatley. A devastating loss to all who knew him. The 90th Garda who lost his life in service to the State & the people of Ireland. A sacrifice we must continuously remember. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
