@erinbowbooks.bsky.social and I both have MG books this year that I think cover the scale of MG quite well. WITCHWARD BOUND is an illustrated adventure with short chapters. THE THIRD PERIOD COMEBACK fits in that weird "for 12-15 yos" window we have trouble filling. But...that's just two books.
