Waiting for my wife at the airport. She really doesn't enjoy my humour, but 4 other random passengers have!

@metrovancouverorg.bsky.social Yesterday, my wife and I ventured to downtown Vancouver for a fun afternoon. Unfortunately, she tripped whilst walking, face planted, and broke her wrist. I want to take this opportunity to shoutout the following people:

@scalzi.com if you could play a bit-part character in any of your novels, which book would you choose, and what would your character do? Would you pick a goodie or a baddie?

Two years ago, my son flew to Budapest for 8 weeks to film "House of Spoils". He was 19, and it was his first time away from home on his own. This week, the trailer dropped! He's the "pros-cue-tee-oh?" Guy. Proud dad moment! 🥰 youtu.be/qPtxADbsUzk?...

Our local supermarket gives out Marvel cards when you spend a certain amount. We spend a lot (!) so have collected lots of cards. My 21 yr old son LOVES them, and commented on the collector book that they sold, and how it was a foolish purchase ... So I bought him one! #nevertooold

Ok, so I'm new here. I was thinking "what should be my first proper post?" and found this in my drawer at school, which my librarian friend made for me after I'd read ALL of John's books! Time to pin it on, I think. 😁 @scalzi.com

Just took a leaf out of Brazil's playbook and deactivated X. Finding good posts among the sea of detritus became more and more challenging. Let's see how Bluesky works! 😁
