I didn't have a chance to finish my birthday drawing in time for today, BUT I did finish the Black Butler piece I've been working on over the last two months!!!! I'm so SO proud of this one :3 #blackbutler #kuroshitsuji #sebastianmichaelis #cielphantomhive #blackbutlerfanart #digitalart

A painting of Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis on the lamp-lit streets of London. Its night, the lamps cast a pleasant golden light from above, as something otherworldly casts violet light from below, and there to catch this villain (not pictured) is The Queen's Guard Dog himself, standing above them. The boy holds a pistol, ready at his side, looking down at you with his one uncovered eye.
His faithful demon butler, Sebastian is crouched in front of them, cutlery ready between his fingers to end this person's life should his master call for it, looking at this prey with a slight amusement his master does not share.

The lineart version of the finished piece.

Have you ever seen or shared an 'oh no' cartoon? Did you know the creator is a queer Welsh artist? Did you know they're being agressively pursued & harassed w/lawsuits from a US organisation trying to steal their intellectual property? Did you know you can donate to cover the horrific legal costs?

a mysterious creature with glowing eyes and teeth is peaking out of the ground in the forest

A comic panel of a skeleton detective talking to his human assistant while they are walking down a hallway. They are surrounded by empty speech bubbles.

A comic page of 3 people sitting on bar stools with their backs turned away from the viewer. We see various close-ups of the characters interacting with their drinks in smaller panels on the side.

I'm so weak for dragons man, they're pretty neat!!!! (even if they're tricky to work with at times) Also, I found an easier way to draw their wings, which made the whole process less painful!

Those are good suggestions to follow!! And like all comic book rules, they can be broken if it vibes better with your comic's jam. For example, making the tail especially thin (or just a line) if a character speaks weakly/softly. Or have the tail go traveling super far for comedy timing, etc!
