That's very fair! Although I'm still doubtful about deployment given the relative cost compared to a bunch of computers in Fairfax or whatever

Good news, orbital data centers are dumb and almost certainly won't happen en masse!

The Talmud teaches that anyone who sustains one soul, has sustained an entire world. For generations, Jewish New Yorkers have sustained our city. Today, we are launching the first-ever municipal Strategy to Combat Antisemitism.

Someone in Cherelle Parker's office is actually recording the number of people calling them regarding the Academy of Natural Science's closure. I did this during my afternoon walk and raised a talking point I never got to discuss at City Hall: Port Kennedy Bone Cave 🧵

Proud to work at the @inquirer.com, where today our entire five-page Opinion section is about the many ways Trump’s White House has become a house of corruption. The Inquirer is keeping Freedom of the Press alive in the city where it was founded. But that’s not all! 🧵

In all seriousness folks, this is just a game - take care of yourselves and it's okay to turn the game off if it's no longer fun. I'm just a sicko who likes watching baseball even if it's bad baseball

In full candor, baseball is my favorite sport, so I'm bummed that I only have one more game to watch my favorite team.

Mf said last in OPS twice. For emphasis, you see

29th runs per game in September, lowest OPS, fewest home runs, last in OPS It was never gonna go any other way

Thinking about that kid I saw last Halloween in zombie makeup and a harper jersey who proudly told me she was dressed as "Dead October"

A good read on the the state of the academy as it stands today. We're in a pivotal moment right now. The academy board must accept the bridge funding or find another way to keep the museum open immediately. neighborhoodfundamentals.substack.com/p/the-academ...

The Academy Has an Offer. Does It Have the Authority to Take It?

A year of funding is on the table. What's unresolved is who actually gets to decide.

El and Subway trains every 3-4 minutes, and Regional Rail trains every 15 minutes, would revolutionize Philly’s system. People will ditch cars/Ubers when the service is that regular and reliable.

I called, and Parker's office at least acknowledged the problem and said the mayor is working on it (though I'm not terribly hopeful)
