I've been doing a bit of soul searching recently and keep coming back to the same question - what is version 4? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi. I’m Jon AKA Eigotaku. I live in Tokyo and try my hand at writing, snowboarding, photography, trying to start a band, parenting and surviving. I wrote/ made I am Yours- a noir visual novel #solodev #gamedev and am working on having a cozy pop culture cafe to host small events and exhibitions. 👋

Gave up trying to get tickets for the Zelda concert. An hour of errors, apps, verifications, passwords and log ins and got nowhere. Pre ordered the console though.

After looking in two stores in Shinjuku, one in Yokohama and one in Oimachi, the #zelda 40th anniversary Switch 2 was available to pre order in 3 out of the four. Not that difficult to get in Japan (in person at least) ?

So... The #renpy FULL English version of I am yours is... Done! I think. eigotaku.itch.io/i-am-yours-r... Please feel free to try it out, tell me what works and what doesn't (literally and figuratively) and I'll work out what the next stage is. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Three gigs in 10 days as well as going to see a hero in concert. Tomorrow is a well earned rest until the madness begins.

Ok, apart from visual novel or text adventure, "memoir game" suits I am Yours pretty well.

This is Perry. He is cool. Today I celebrate 15 years of being in Japan. Some good, some bad. Crazy times. See you on the flip side.

I feel very fortunate to have formed a (pearl jam covers and a few originals) band this year. Our next show will be a special one, so if you're in Tokyo, give it a look.

The 70th issue of Indiepocalypse is out this week and I'm running the usual 'every 10 issue' pledge drive! Most of the time that means it's annual, but since it's the second drive this year, it's a patron drive instead! The goal though of 'break even' remains the same. patreon.com/indiepocalypse

a pledge drive banner for indiepocalypse with a thermometer and goal of $2,500.
