🔴 On 1 Sept 2004, Chechen separatists attacked School No. 1 in Beslan. 🔴 They held more than 1,000 people hostage for 3 days. 🔴 On 3 Sept, state security stormed the school. 🔴 The siege and response resulted in 331 deaths. In 2017, the ECtHR published its judgment in this case: lnkd.in/eEbJZkhY
