Helpless people depend upon empathy, which has always been one of our most powerful tools for surviving a violent and greedy species. For three years, I've hoped the Iranian people would succeed in toppling their inhumane government. I've wished to see the people dancing freely in the streets, without fearing arrest! I've believed that Putin, as a result, will lose his hold in Ukraine, and that Netanyahu will face multiple trials.
