Le argomentazioni a favore di Gergiev sono uno sprone per boicottarlo sempre con maggiore decisione. Si nascondono dietro ad arte e cultura, inconsapevoli oppure lucidamente consapevoli di usare arte e cultura per schermare un putrido letamaio.

I’ve repeatedly heard the opinion that Gergiev's concert in Italy is a show of support for Russian culture.Actually,it isn't.This is a crime against culture and its future. Gergiev is a Russian official and Putin's ally. He did not condemn the war but openly supported Putin and his policies.
