The Yankees have outscored the Red Sox 42-4 (37-4 if you remove the position player pitcher) in their last four games, all of which were pretty important. The first two were for the tiebreaker and then these two games.

The team is unserious about making big moves to improve the team. Cashman will make moves around the margins again, not sign any impact players, have a black hole at 3b, 2b, and LF again and they’ll win 90 games, play the wildcard again, and it’s a crap shoot to move forward
