Bird 2, looking annoyed and unconvinced: hmph!

Bird 1 turns to look at 2, getting annoyed now as well.

Bird 2: You always want a tree! What's wrong with a nice roof?
Bird 1: Hawks!

Bird 2, still a little frustrated: Same argument every spring! Why did I ever marry you?
Bird 1, with a cool smug: Because I'm pretty.

So, endlich Hail Mary geschaut. Der Film ist gut. Aber da er leider so zeitbegrenzt ist (nur 2:30 😬)haben die einiges aus dem Buch kürzer/anders umgesetzt. Film gut, Buch besser.

The U.S. Secretary of Defense just stated that—so far—the war with Iran has cost $37.5 billion dollars. That's since February. That same amount is how much the United States spent on planetary science from FY2013 through FY2026 inclusive. Thirteen years of planetary science or five months of war.

The Curiosity rover on Mars. At about $2.6 billion, it buys you about ten days of Iran war.

Ein handgetzeichneter Comic-Strip in vier Panelen von islieb. Eine einfache Strichfigur erklärt in den ersten beiden Panelen: „Leute sagen, wir sollten jeden Tag wie unseren letzten leben. Aber ICH sage, wir sollten jeden Tag leben, als wären wir schon tot!“ Im dritten Panel liegt die Figur flach auf dem Boden und fügt hinzu: „Das ist weniger anstrengend.“ Im vierten Panel wird sie von einer anderen Figur gefragt: „Lust auf Kino?“ worauf die liegende Figur antwortet: „Ich verwese gerade.“

Gerade in ner Kneipe in meiner Heimatstadt gewesen. Radler/Bier 0.4 für 4€ und dabei Livemusik von einer hobbyband (gut!). Im laden waren max. 20 Gäste und 3 angestellte.. wie rechnet sich das?! Selbst bei Mindestlohn kommt das nicht hin 😔
