We decided to take a walk in the autumn drizzle... and 3km in, it turned to a downpour, so we bought groceries, and got a ride home and we're enjoying tea with honey. So cozy!!!

My house is older than that. We're also off grid. It's romantic in a way, but everything needs to be redone. Like everything. I live in a constant state of "well, that needs to be fixed". I've been here for 10 years though!

I love the fact that we picked Belgium solely because it was the closest tour date to us. We probably wouldn't have gone there otherwise, and the experience of finding my way around a map of a foreign place is so interesting! I also need to brush up on my French!

So cool! Just generally, where to stay, what to see, places to eat! Neither of us have been there yet so we're excited! We haven't booked a hotel yet because it's too early. We are looking at the musical instrument museum (that building is a dream), and the natural history so far.
