Make botw feel unfinished in comparison. Still amazing in its own right but the two games are in completely different ballparks. I still think tears story isn’t the most groundbreaking, but hey, i still think is probably objectively the best game in the series in terms of how it feels to play (2/2)

BOTW has the better story imo but oh my god i felt like a kid in a candy shop when i played TOTK. I literally got so lost and invested in the game play that when i return to BOTW i just run around for a few minutes before booting up tears again because the quality of life game play improvements(1/2)

No more calling it "friendslop". They're co-op/multiplayer games. Friendslop is a terribly degrading term used by miserable, friendless basement dwellers who have ever only played FPS while yelling slurs at some kid. Especially sad when the games are fun, engaging, and done with true care.

I know Calvin’s dad is already having a moment, but every terrible “outsource precious and fleeting moments with your children to tech so that you can spend more time on your work” pitch makes me think of that one strip I never really cared about as a kid, but care a lot about as an adult.

The Calvin and Hobbes strip where Calvin asks his dad to come play in the snow with him. His dad initially says no, because he has to work. Then, angry at himself, his Dad goes out to build a snowman with Calvin. As the Dad works into the night to make up for it, we see Calvin’s mum lifting him up to give one of the few, if only, kisses he ever gives his dad in the Calvin and Hobbes run. His dad is content. It’s a textless comic, and it’s lovely.

I cant stop thinking about this old Tumblr post. As a long time teacher, I can confirm this artwork is still everywhere because we were still using materials that were there when I was a kid. This art style wasn't allowed in my classroom, I've always loathed it haha
