I’M WRITING ANOTHER BOOK!!! And I get to announce it during Pride Month!!!! 🌈 THE HOUSE OF NOW AND THEN is “summer beach book but make it gay and trans”, featuring one bad breakup, one new romance, and one magical house with secrets behind every door. 🚪 🏠✨
An image of a Publishers Marketplace deal announcement which reads: THE IN-BETWEEN BOOKSTORE author Edward Underhill’s THE HOUSE OF NOW AND THEN, in which a trans man in his early thirties rents a seaside cottage on Cape Cod for the summer after a messy breakup, only to discover that the cottage has an extraordinary secret: a different person from his past is behind each room’s door, reliving notable moments from their history together on loop, pitched as for fans of TJ Klune and Ashley Poston, to Tessa Woodward at Avon, in a very nice deal, for publication in Summer 2026, by Patricia Nelson at Looking Glass Literary & Media, while at Marsal Lyon Literary Agency.

Another year, another #transdayofvisibility and honestly, I’m sick of being visible. What if instead of asking trans people to be visible, everyone else used their visibility for us? To protect, respect, and defend us? Or, at the very least, read our stories? We could use some allies. 🏳️‍⚧️✨

It’s funny to me when TERFs think trans men are somehow “pushed” into it because no one’s telling us we can be Strong Women. Like…trust me, I had SO many feminist folks in my life telling me I could be a strong woman. I tried. I couldn’t do it. Because I’m not a woman. I AM a feminist. A 🏳️‍⚧️ one.
