Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 14/01/2025For those that care, a new Dolby Atmos mix of Do They Know It’s Christmas (1984) has just gone on to streaming. As well as sounding warmer and more modern, there’s a slight difference to Paul Young’s opening like - an additional word “…and there’s no need to be afraid”. 020 2
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 04/01/2025Make the change now. It’ll probably be fiddly to start with but I don’t think you’ll regret it. Besides, you’ll enjoy the eye rolling when people send you links on Spotify! 100 1
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 04/01/2025We’re an Apple Music household and don’t understand why people use Spotify. 100 1
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 13/12/2024Bextor is great, though she’s turned closer to being a karaoke act and doing fewer of her original songs. HL are fantastic. 110 1
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 10/12/2024Hey TV and Film friends. I'm now available as a highly experienced Drama script supervisor. Do please pass my CV on to anyone recruiting or looking to fill some dailies slots. www.gemsagency.co.uk/cv_profile/e... 031 3
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 06/12/2024Thoughts, please. Saw the wonderful Human League in Cardiff last night. Apart from Susan being booed when she said it was the start of their Englishtour (ouch) it was great but someone had a go at me for dancing in by the third act. I didn’t stop. Do you think people should sit through pop concerts? 130 3
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Wanted to share that I’ve just been nominated for Best Director for my short film at The North Film Fest which takes place in NYC next Feb. I’ll be going out there, of course. Still pinching myself about it! 291 9
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 02/12/2024Finally listened to this and think it’s Gary’s best episode so far. So many classics that I’d not heard in ages like Dad Band and ending it on Nightshift was just perfect. 010 1

Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 23/11/2024What lyrics did Smash Hits get wrong that you believed? For me, it’s “I’ll show you in spring it’s a picture of Sting” The Cure ‘Lovecats’. 140 4
Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Yeah, we did have a lot of lights there which made the pictures look brilliant but I see what you mean. 010 1

Edward @edwardrussell.bsky.social · 22/11/2024Very excited by the 2024 remixed version of Thompson Twins ‘Into The Gap’ out today. I feel this is an overlooked band from the 80s. 031 3
