When your restricted/secured old iPad is too old, and Brave browser is banned on latest Android, iOS, and Linux desktops - it may be a tell of corporate greed and influence (or just really dumb product managers).
A screenshot of the latest version of Brave browser on Android stating "Your internet browser is not supported.". Author notes that it's the same error on iOS and Linux desktop.

TIL that a Raspberry Pi Zero W (the og V1.1) is far too slow to be configured as a simple Printer Server with Ghostscript off loading. It's pegs the single CPU core to 100% between pages to rasterize. I did this to have anything, even older devices to print. Will move to a RPi 3B+.

Did you know Brave can be configured to use your local models? Though, it seems to only be available in this tiny "Sidebar", and not in the main Leo windows with conversation histories and defaults to "Auto", ugh. Todo: - Smart router setup (Switchyard?) - Finalize a backend toolcall (llama-index)

President Trump’s executive order to overhaul longstanding childhood vaccine recommendations should be immediately rescinded. The order comes as pertussis cases are rampant across our country, and as the administration fails to contain the worst measles outbreak we have seen in over thirty years.

That is why @SenSchumer, @SenatorBennet, and I led 88 of our colleagues in demanding the administration restore evidence-based public health policy.

Vaccines are safe, effective, and save lives.

I'm really liking Brave's (updated?) "Shred" functionality. It used to be called something like, "Forget me when I close this site"; but now, it's under a new option called Shred. Tip: Set it to default shred everything. Then slowly exclude the sites to stay logged into.

It's not SkynetDay. It was just doing it's job, with expected hallucinations that went unchecked. But the sheer level of incompetence to even YOLO an unprotected model shows you why Sandboxes are not protections. THE DAMN THING LEFT BEHIND INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP THE NEXT MODEL TO JAILBREAK.
Raphael Satter, Deepa Seetharaman and Kenrick C (Reuters): In one case, an agent left notes apparently for future versions of itself, according to three people familiar with the matter. The ‌notes, found in a part of OpenAI's infrastructure, laid out instructions for how agents could free themselves from OpenAI’s internal constraints, the people said. Earlier tests of the models yielded cases in which monitoring systems had been disconnected, one of the people said.Tenobrus: look at this. fucking look at this. GPT 6 was self-coordinating ways to jailbreak its own future instances from openai systems. it was attacking huggingface for days before anyone there noticed. the models are not aligned and the labs are not capable of containing them.

i'm begging u all to take a step back from the frames ur stuck in. whatever the tribe, open source advocacy, american exceptionalism, lab employee, whatever. just look at this man. this is not an acceptable or safe situation for humanityTwilly (American): Isn’t this what opponents of ai have been warning about for years while everyone in tech laughed at them and called them stupid?

Tenobrus: absolutely yes

What could have caused it to do that?

Well, it’s all pretty obvious and predicted. It’s only remarkable in the sense that so many people kept insisting such thing would never happen, and hopefully this will help wake such people up.

Others just say ‘oh but the models going completely rogue is good actually, because I am sure they will end up doing exactly the things I want them to do, it’s all great.’An OpenAI Model Left Behind Notes So Future Instances Could Also Escape The Sandbox And Also Disconnected Monitoring Systems

The Nazi forced SpaceX to buy 1,200 Cybertrucks at the end of 2025. Those numbers are shown below, being ~30% of overall sales in Q4 2025 and about ~10% overall 2025. 1. Who is still buying a Cybertrucks? 2. Who is still buying Tesla in general? 3. Who is still buying Tesla stock?
Cox Automotive figures show the trajectory. Cybertruck sold 38,965 units in 2024, then 20,237 units in 2025, a 48.1% year-over-year decline. Q4 2025 volume was 4,140 units, down 68.1% from 12,991 a year earlier. Q1 2026 hit a record low of 3,519 deliveries, and only 7,133 Cybertrucks were registered in the U.S. through May 2026, per S&P Global Mobility data cited by Bloomberg.

In the 80s, we didn't have memory for a GUI. Most people ran DOS and executed a single binary to output ASCII. Before Norton Commander, we had TopView that allowed you to run two programs at once and switch between them. Each binary had about 292kb of ram, with TopView using ~42kb.

Introduced the 2nd kiddo Jurassic Park (1993) just last month. And the quote from Jeff Goldblum's character hits home with everything immoral with commercial AI. RIP Sam Neill - you were truly the definition of humility throughout your career and in person.
"You didn't earn the knowledge for yourselves, so you don't take any responsibility for it. You stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you could, and before you even knew what you had, you patented it, and packaged it, and slapped it on a plastic lunchbox...you were so focused on whether you could you didnt stop to think about if you should."

Once all the "goodwill" of open source model authors dry up, we won't have any more models!! We did not need to give $500,000,000,000 to bigtech for Ai. That was an investment into Big Surveillance and girl-school bombings. Instead, we need to fund open data access to hardware.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but the propaganda isn't adding up. But this article makes a very compelling story of what actually happened.
A screenshot of text from the article in the Repost that reads the following:

THE LOSSES WASHINGTON ISN’T EMPHASIZING
The rescue operation did not happen in isolation. It was part of a cascading series of U.S. aircraft losses that are being carefully minimized:

F-15E Strike Eagle — shot down by Iranian air defenses on April 3

A-10 Warthog — crashed near the Strait of Hormuz while providing cover for rescue teams; Iran claims it was shot down, the U.S. has not explained the cause

Two MC-130J Commando II aircraft — destroyed on the ground inside Iran

Four MH-6 Little Bird helicopters — destroyed on the ground inside Iran

Two HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopters — hit by Iranian fire during the operation

E-3G Sentry AWACS — destroyed on March 27 (not related to the rescue, but part of the broader loss picture)

Multiple KC-135 Stratotankers — damaged in Iranian missile attack on Prince Sultan Air Base

Trump boasted of “overwhelming Air Dominance” while not mentioning that a second combat aircraft went down the same day as the F-15E.
