Tetsuryo!: We were going to put all of our Cute Girls Doing Cute Things shows on an endcap, but there was only one this season. Buy it anyway! It's blandly written, blandly designed, and has mostly rookie seiyuu protagonists, but... it's about trains? So, you know. Your options are sort of limited.

Dandivine: Ah, the toy aisle. Who doesn't love rows of old model robots that no one ever seems to buy? The villain of this anime, that's who. This is a super robot show with a TMR OP (!) and ... that's about it. It's fairly by the numbers and bland, but there's just enough for me to watch more.

World's Strongest Witch: Come on over to our wireless network center, where we have this doofy show featuring a dork who can access the internet in a fantasy world, which winds up just being GameFAQs for her universe. It's cuter than the premise seems; reminded me of Slime 300 a bit. Suprisingly OK.

Magic Knight Rayearth: Hey, you look 40-something. Do you want to watch a remake of a 90s classic? It's got all the SD and facefaults you could possibly want! It even looks modern, but keeps the original aesthetic. A solid productioon, but it's still essentially a 90s show with all that entails.

Looking for a Zombie: Dug another show out of the clearance bin! A post-apoc zombie comedy where the jokes are "the protagonists don't know what a lighter is" but they can drive a truck so the disconnect doesn't really land. A connect-four of bland animation, direction, music, and writing.

It sucks, but I lost interest in continuing. I think I got 110 or something hours into the game and all my desire to continue playing it, or even beating it, has been sapped. I wish the game had been compressed somehow, and they had reined in their constant desire for additional mechanics.

I'm quitting Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave mid Act III because I cannot take it any longer. I truly enjoyed the game up to Act III, having completed all four Act I routes and Act II. But Act III dumps even more tedious busywork on you, making every action feel like it takes forever.

I still think it has merit for interesting and often fun direction and some good character dynamics, but most of the best stuff is in the first half of the show; there was a fairly steady decline that led to the ending people are rightfully complaining about. I would not recommend it solely for yuri

Mag was getting very close to capacity in 2019 and 2020 (~22k/24k), so 2025/26 may be just a return to 'normal' post-covid. This year I think most people just decided to get tickets ASAP, and that brought in some FOMO as word spread. I expect some tickets to be refunded after the hotel lottery!
