Did a comic about magpies, and had a mental block around colouring them until I remembered Batman. #superstitions #comics #illustration

it's an illustration of a european magpie, pica pica, perched inside a flowering horse chestnut tree, eating a cockchafer beetle

if you see this post your black and white art

What looks like a cybernetic primate with a robot eye is wearing a ruff and clenching his fist at us. Perhaps it is an Elizabethan cyborg primate space pirate.

Welcome to the Executive Suite

A computer keyboard protrudes into the top left of the photograph, resting on a white glass desk. A Mont Blanc fountain pen sits next to three wrapped slices of processed cheese, which I have drawn on with marker pen so that they resemble 3.5" floppy disks.

Here's a little drawing I did today for an upcoming party. Going softer and slightly outside this project's usual style as it's more of a low key chilled sort of thing than their usual parties. Yeah! #illustration #drawing #music #the2bears #dashthehenge #housemusic

Two bears sit atop a pebbledashed version of stonehenge, drinking beer. One has a record bag. One has a box of Morley's fried chicken. They are leaning on an enormous ghetto blaster with four cassette decks in it. They're happy and giving off good vibes. It's a flyer for a party at DASH THE HENGE, 348 Camberwell New Rd, 22.03.25, 7pm - 1am at which The 2 Bears will play records.

This type of drawing just seems to appear over the course of several passes with different pens. I HAVE to harness this for drawing comics. It's so much faster than my usual process.

A drawing in three shades of green marker pen and green biro showing a bald man in young middle age looking to the right.
