Suffered a mild concussion on Sunday. Shit’s weird. 🤕

I always loved the Nintendo DS, and this can run some light PC games and emulators in an actual handheld package. Adore my Steamdeck but dang, that thing is way too huge for long stretches. Plus, this actually fits in my pocket.

The AYN Thor has quickly earned my “favorite device” spot. Dual screens is where it’s at. Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the PS2 on the top screen, Dragonball Super streaming on bottom.

That’s super cool! I run a martial arts gym and teach boxing classes, so this is a fun intersection of my interests. I often accidentally still have ITA going instead of music on my Spotify when I start classes.

Whoa how long have you been boxing

Seconding this. It’s how I’ve been playing through FFIX (4th playthrough for me) the last few months and it’s stellar. So many QoL adjustments, but it’s also beautiful.

ALRIGHT! Here's a short thread nobody asked for about the new Star Fox game, because I CANNOT believe how many thoughts I have about this Arwing-piloting woodland creature and all of his friends 🧵

I know this shouldn’t be surprising, but it’s crazy how quickly it happened.

I engaged with one thing (positively) about Gameoverse on Twitter and now the algorithm is showing me nothing but super toxic and hateful posts about it. What a cesspool, it just wants you to be mad about everything.

I’m very late to the party but I have just started playing Death Stranding… and there’s a character named Die-Hardman? Is that right?

Eddy Rivas @eddyrivas.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

So I never played Death Stranding and now I’m seeing all these glowing reviews of DS2… should I give the first one a shot?

Coming from a launch version of the first Switch, Switch 2 is an enormous upgrade. Screen is gorgeous and the whole thing feels less like a toy. If the hardware performs as good as it seems like it’s going to on multi-platform releases, this may be my go-to console for those.

Crazy weather in Austin last night. Piles of hail that were truly insane. Ankle deep water in our kitchen, living room, and garage.

Rolled credits on Expedition 33. Instant all-timer. Thoroughly impressed by its confidence — this game is unabashedly itself from start to finish. Beautiful world, complex characters, addictive RPG mechanics. Sign me up for everything Sandfall does.
