So, 50 years ago I was invited to go to DC to preform the musical 1776 on the Nat. Mall. It was a highlight of my young life! Afterwords,in costume we spent the entire day meeting people and taking pictures. I never heard a single person say if they were a D or an R. This is what he’s taken from us!

Working in the Restaurant and Bar business for 40 years, the term 86 has two meanings. 1, that we’ve run out of an item and the other (more commonly used in the bar) refers to someone who’s disruptive behavior has caused them to be 86’d which generally means they are kicked out and can’t return.
