I can't believe I didn't discover KITSUNE TAILS sooner, but I'm glad I finally did, because I absolutely loved it. (Though half of the final boss fight was a bit tricky.) It's Super Mario Bros. 3 but more: more story, more heart, more girls, more yokai, more challenge—more more more. Please play it!

The Adventures of Star Saver is kind of a weird game with lots of gotcha deaths, but aside from some tricky boss patterns, it's fairly basic and not too tough. I still found it strangely compelling and worth spending some time with it. #JustBeatIt

Inspired by @dandock.bsky.social's I AM THE NIGHT, I recently picked a random episode to re-watch: "It's Never Too Late," in which Batman helps a mobster haunted by childhood trauma turn his life around. It underscores what a miracle it is that such mature, beautiful stories were made "for kids."

And that's a wrap! Overall I enjoyed the DLC bosses: great designs, animations, and music, with some neat twists on mechanics, and not overly difficult. I had the hardest time finding the secret boss, as the puzzle was not intuitive to me at all, and my son mocked me as I tried to figure it out. 😅

I did a community playthrough of The Battle of Olympus with online friends back in 2021: our first time playing, no guides, just discussion and sharing the experience. It was a blast, especially for this mythology nerd. Here's hoping the remake smooths out some rough edges and finds a new audience!
