i wish Caius was more of an active character in Lightning Returns as opposed to taking more of a backseat considering how crucial he is to the state of the world 😭. i think they could've done more than stick him into the Wildlands.

each yield like idk 50 renown? its very little per spawn, and the skirmishes are boring as hell. Cai and Theo have it soooo much better with the mounts and battalion deployments. basically Dagsion is only gonna feel like busywork if you dont know how to manage time efficiently.

is one of my favourite additions so getting over 50 turns uninterrupted there is not only optimized but also very fun. though i guess the quality varies by route. Leda's performances is just "go to this tile and do an action for renown", and Dietrich's is similar but its by spawning enemies that

saturday and sunday, then by doing sunday you'll have covered that week's activities already, so you dont actually have to do them again until the NEXT saturday, which gives you like 50 turns to do worldmap stuff. that's ample time to finish any side quests or grind up your units. the worldmap

more tolerable and more free. plus i also just know what i'm doing so that speeds things up. knowing that unless there's some special event during the week (ie spectating a match), you really dont have to be spending that many turns per week in Dagsion. you can do your stuff back to back on

100 hours into Fortune's Weave and i think my gripes with Dagsion and all the "busywork" for lack of better term have sort of subsided. i think this is mainly because i'm on my 4th route and all the bonuses you accumulate after completing routes really stacks up and makes the flow of Dagsion way

im not restarting the previous chapter for that. it's 148 turns and i did so much grinding and busywork in Dagsion. i have other units to take his place but it kinda sucks that i accidentally killed one of Theo's retainers. he's gonna talk in every scene and im just gonna be reminded of my sins.
