Jarringly funky... reminiscent of Ohio Players (something reminds me Roller Coaster somehow). I don't know why, but this song is putting me on edge, even though I dig the individual elements. Music is weird sometimes. Oh hold on, what is this bass break leading into a piano solo? And bongos? Get it!

Classic joint. Love the upbeat, danceable groove, but paired with lyrics of heart break. Nice dichotomy. What a great band name too... The Ethics. This could/should have been a crossover hit, it's infectious.

Would love to hear this with the volume levels normalized between when the fx are engaged or bypassed. The fx seem to be boosting the volume, so it's hard to differentiate the between the volume increasing and the sound changing. Also, I'm constantly amazed at the litany of fx you have available 😅
