(For the sake of authenticity: behind the camera is an over-tired and fairly stressed Hannah.)

Introvert recharging: brief lunch break edition

Portrait: colouring stuff (gold foil 'thank you' postcard and a couple of green pens) plus a bowl of homemade lemon rice, on a table. Blurred in the background are wisteria leaves wrapped around a trellis.

Gosh, the discourse on here is depressing this evening. Here's Ozzy taking a nap in a basin, for anyone who needs it.

Grey furry cat sleeping in a basin, paws sticking up.

Well done! Such a fantastic thing to do. I've just had to stop giving because I kept going lightheaded afterwards. 😓

Truly the best way to eat them.

❤️❤️❤️ Even if the general trajectory is upward, that can be so hard to see when you're living day to day (or moment to moment).

Hugs right back your way! It's rough some days, but I wouldn't be me without the neurodivergence. I love your line of "Recovery is not linear", because I picked up the same quote in therapy a few years back. It's so true. Best of luck as you (re)discover yourself and build a healthier foundation.

Burnout is a beast. I'm 30 now and only just discovering who I really am, after late AuDHD diagnoses and 14ish years of mental health issues because of said burnout. So pleased things are finally moving in the right direction for you. ❤️

I'm sorry to hear that - sending love and prayers.

That kind of reminds me of my neurodiverse proprioceptive needs. I crave deep pressure touch on my shoulders and blankets are great for that, even if I don't need the warmth itself.

Yikes, I missed that detail in the reporting!

I'm flying with them next month and thought precisely that when I heard! 😠

*If* anyone is trying to blow up #RAF #Fairford, that is appalling. The actions of US forces at Fairford - who have used it as a base for flying off to bomb #Iran, #Iraq and other places around the world for years - are also appalling. I've little time for people who condemn one but not the other.
