ADDITIONALLY: we're looking for bike safety advocates and infrastructure experts to join us at the end of the day (around 4pm) to give feedback to participants as they present their work. You don't need to be there all day for this, just the final stretch.

Whichever track you pick, come spend the day with us: check-in starts at 9:30am, demos start at 4pm, and a group photo/closing things out around 5:30, and there's a happy hour after. No prior involvement with either project needed, just bring a laptop. Lunch and coffee covered.

Track 3 Website/UI: help build out the RideScore DC frontend map. We'll have a ready-to-run environment (HTML or Docker) with instructions so you can plug in and go, whether you're new to the project or have been contributing for months.

Track 2 Modeling: build your own bike safety scoring model. We're providing a clean, downloadable dataset and data pipeline with instructions, open-ended enough that you can experiment with whatever approach interests you.

Track 1 Non-technical: outreach, benchmarking peer projects, strategy, and user research. If shaping how RideScore DC reaches people is more your speed than writing code, this track is for you.

TBH even if Starry via Verizon didn't suck, I'd still want to switch. In 2018, I went from October 30th - December 5th w/o internet despite hundreds of hours on the phone, technicians coming out, starting/restarting account. I never want to do business with them again.
