Who shouldn’t get the MMR vaccine?

You shouldn’t get the MMR vaccine if you:

Have a weakened immune system
Are pregnant or think you might be pregnant
Have severe, life-threatening allergies to any part of the vaccine
Talk to your provider if you:

Have a health condition that makes you bleed or bruise easily, or you’ve had one in the past
Have recently received a blood transfusion or gotten other blood products
Need to get a tuberculosis skin or blood test
Have received any other vaccines in the last month
Have a history of seizures

In people with normal immune systems, measles can generally be prevented with 2 doses of the safe, proven, effective MMR vaccine. my.clevelandclinic.org/health/proce...

How effective is the MMR vaccine?
Two doses of the MMR vaccine are 97%
effective at preventing measles and rubella and 86% effective at preventing mumps. A small number of fully vaccinated people may still get sick if they're exposed to one of these viruses.
But the symptoms are usually milder, and they're less likely to spread the virus to others.

MOST gracious God, i rejoice in the love you have shown to our poor human race, opening up to us a path of deliverance from our sin and foolishness.

O God the Father, praise you for your great and holy love. When we had utterly gone astray, you diligently sought us out and saved us, sending your beloved Son to suffer and die so that we might be restored into fellowship with you.

O God the Son, I praise you for your great and holy love. You humbled yourself for the sake of me and all people; you shared in our common life; you dwelt in the midst of all our sin and shame. You endured all the bitterness of the passion and died at last on the cross, so that we might be released from the shackles of sin and enter with you into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

If you’re pregnant please wear a well fitted mask like an N95. Pregnancy makes you high risk for Covid complications. There’s no risk to masking and cleaning the air. More & more studies are showing that Covid during pregnancy harms a developing fetus. Mask up.

Staying away when sick, testing before visiting an expectant mother, and always wearing respirators (N95 or better) around pregnant women and in places we are likely to encounter one— These are such minuscule prices to pay to give these little ones their best start in life. Lord, have mercy on us.

Unborn people made in God’s image, dependent on others to care and make decisions for them, have been and are being harmed by SARS-CoV2 infections. One more reason to mask: to avoid harming expectant mothers and their unborn children. Harming these little ones grieves the heart of God.

Virus resulted in altered neonatal brain volumes in the regions of the cortical and subcortical gray matter, cerebral white matter, and the left hippocampus.
• Changes in cortical gray matter mediated deficits in cognitive scores at two years of age in children who were exposed to SARS-CoV-2 in utero.

#OneOfTheTwo still masking Thanks to consistent wearing of N95 or KN95 mask, I have not had any communicable illness since March 2020. This has improved my chronic illness baseline and enabled me to enjoy the outdoors with fewer allergy and asthma issues. I only wish I’d known to wear them sooner.
