EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 26mIf there’s any good to come out of this game, it is that the Kings might have enough secondary playmakers to make Acuff look good 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 32mThe starters didn’t look… awful… but then they tried running a Nique-Sharp-Plowden-Raynaud-Cardwell lineup and it was roughhhhh 110
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 2hFreddy Peralta avg FB velo by playoff outing (most recent on top) Tonight: 96.8 MPH 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 6hTwo runs being scored off of a couple of walks and three batted balls with negative launch angles. That's playoff base ball 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 22hI get that it’s engagement bait but posturing as a pitch data expert and not knowing what adrenaline does is incredible stuff 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Important question about the Sale thing: Did the Braves let him go Game 3 knowing that it was unlikely they would let him start on 4 days rest anyway? He hasn't gone on short rest since his third start of the season 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Chourio came into today with a 120 regular season wRC+ and a 186 postseason wRC+. Him 010
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 04/10/2026105/49 right down the line of a 342 ft distance is very possible to have been a HR. Most of those balls go to CF, this one is a rarity that got dead pulled (notice that 2B in the RF corner) 121
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Are the Brewers mandated to have one divine intervention play per postseason 021
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 03/10/2026While the Padres did make the NLCS with Soto and did manage to get King and Thorpe->Cease from NYY, we gotta talk about what they gave to Washington because good lord 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 02/10/2026The Giants AFL affiliate, Scottsdale Scorpions, kick off the AFL season tomorrow at 3:30 PT. Same time as Yankees-Rays. 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 02/10/2026The traded Giants… Heliot Ramos: $3.2MM Patrick Bailey: $2.3MM Erik Miller: $1.5MM 010
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Doval: $6.6MM (slightly cheaper than expected) Schmitt: $2.5MM Foley: $2.3MM Hentges: $2MM Walker: $1MM Knizner: $1MM RandRod: $800k Buttó: $800k 121
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Excited for right-wing media to start talking about how Sophie Cunningham got blackballed 020
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Is the 81-81 team that made the playoffs not actually that good? My column: 010
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 30/09/2026One thing to give up a run because Bohm and Harper can't field. Another thing to intentionally walk the bases loaded so that your starter with 110 pitches can face one more hitter 010
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 30/09/2026It’s been a few years since Mattingly left his left-handed ace out to dry in the 7th inning of a decisive playoff game, but I’m glad we’re back around on it 110
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Mahle ended up as 1 of 8 free agent pitchers to put up a 2 fWAR season 1.2 of that was in Atlanta, where they raised his splitter usage to 36-38%. But they still threw a dart on a good target. 020
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Go back to the 2020 clip of Luciano’s alleged 119 EV and try to imagine him being in AA while Ryan Rolison gets playoff innings in 2026 110
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Michael King with the adrenaline velo boost is basically unhittable for righties 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Probably should’ve gone Alvarado for Olson/Harris part of the order. But, that’s hindsight 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Hindsight is 20/20, but there is a fine line between “oh, good, your best to the top of the order after securing the lead” and “9 out save” 100
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 29/09/2026That's where I lean too, but he didn't start games until 2012 so I don't know 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Is Sale considered part of the Kershaw/Scherzer/Verlander/Greinke generation or the deGrom/Cole/Wheeler generation? 100
Reposted by EBEB @ebgp.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Every first time manager has to prove that they can grab hold of the reins and what we’ve seen from Vitello is a “dudes will be dudes” mentality that allows veterans to do whatever the hell they want. From Chapman/Adames playing through debilitating injuries to the bullpen’s show of “faith” 031
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 29/09/2026When Posey says they "overestimated some of the guys that we had in the pen", is he talking about anyone other than Walker? 210
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Looked at it a week or two ago out of curiosity. Figured the Padres would be looking to offload some of their payroll this offseason. Musgrove won’t be on the table 000
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Musgrove’s velo has been +1.4 on his rehab assignment by the way 101
EB @ebgp.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Looking over the playoff teams. Rays bullpen scares the hell out of me but their rotation is ridiculous. That’s something I never thought I’d say 010
