3/3 from 3 in the first quarter seems pretty nice. especially from distance. joe couldn’t guard at all when he got to OKC but left a pretty damn good defender for his size. if he has promise they’ll develop him. he looked awful in the second half but anyone would look bad playing with that lineup.

the difference is they went from playing their deep bench to their deeper bench. only one rostered player was playing for the last two halves lol, coach was saving his guys. they didn’t play mccain, mara, ajay, kenrich at all the last two quarters.

yeah. this wouldn’t have happened if consumer spending wasn’t trending that way past the point of profitability. I haven’t bought a game on disk since 2013. almost every disk requires updates and partial online installs anyway. I fear it’s only a vocal minority affected by this.

hopefully he takes a team friendly deal and can find some consistent hustle next season. Dort was my favorite player when i first started watching but i’m just worried the hyper physicality of his game has taken its toll and he won’t get back to the same 2024-25 Dort.

I think I just saw a distinct falloff in defensive efficiency compared to what we saw in previous seasons. between cason, caruso, dub (hopefully) our perimeter defense is more than capable and those players can contribute offensively on a regular basis. dort’s lack of offense is my real hang up

i’m not a knicks or spurs fan but i did watch every finals game and can tell you brunson was a fucking bucket all series, especially game 5. he went to the line an abnormal amount in like one game. wemby showed himself to be a very good but dirty player. he was guarded like any great big is guarded

you know what’s weird? i grew up in the baptist church and they basically espoused the same ideas. men want sex, women reluctantly give them sex so they can receive affection. (im a male btw) As a teen in the 2010s, I luckily fell into left leaning content but I did see a lot of similar sentiment.

i guess but it’s like if the knicks had to play the spurs without anunoby and alvarado, that’s kinda what the thunder were dealing with. not to take away from the spurs win in the WCF, but i think the fact that OKC took it to 7 without their second and third ball handler speaks a lot about them.

brunson received a flagrant for a much less dangerous landing space foul against champagnie. it’s a flagrant because of how dangerous it can potentially be. you have to understand how it looks that based on precedent set in this series, it should have been a flagrant
