Highlight of my summer by a long mile was eating at Chef Zach Keeshig's restaurant, Naagan, in Owen Sound (voted one of the "most wonderful places in the world" by Time Magazine).
A wooden tree stump with herbs poking out of holes in the side. On top, are two appetisers on display: bannock on the bottom, then fish, cucumber, herbs, flower petals piled on top.An appetiser of two tartlets filled with wild greens and toped with petals sits inside a clay turtle dish.A desert of fruit puree, berry gelato, topped with a biscuit divided into four colours. It sits inside a simply clay bowl and there is a wooden spoon with a carved leaf handle sitting beside.Liquid ice emerges from a bowl, bathing a dining table. In the bowl is a pinecone, a pink coneflower, and a desert resting on top of some thick twigs. The desert is in the shape of a slice mushroom and is topped with herbs and flower petals.

Piggy-backing off of this to say that buying books direct from a publisher's website means higher net revenue for the press, which often translates to higher royalties for the author. So resist the temptation to "buy with one click" on Amazon; the couple extra clicks are worth it, we promise.
