Got a call from new broadband installer for NBI/Circet and they use an AI to make their appointments. Most awkward conversation ever. Almost a minute of "Hello? I did play in cover bands in my twenties when I lived in Galway and while it was fun at times and paid well, it was ultimately soul-destroying. I've been to a couple of tribute bands over the years (one against my will!) and they were fine but there was no spark there. It was all very pedestrian.
