2027 MLB season? Other sports have worked out the labor issue pretty well, labor gets about half the net revenue. Why not with MLB? If the top hitters and pitchers could only get 10 year guaranteed contracts for a quarter of a billion dollars under a salary cap, that doesn’t seem unfair to them.

Trump’s a genius. Republicans have tried to eliminate Medicaid for years, without success, because most Americans aren’t heartless assholes. But you lose Medicaid if you have over $2000. So giving every adult on it $5000 gets them off it. (Kicking kids off it will require another brilliant idea.)

Tomahawk missiles land where the inputted coordinates tell them to. Since Israel has more assets in Iran than the U.S., and Israel’s goal was to obtain the most violent Iranian reaction possible, the coordinates may have come from there. Pure speculation of course. But consistent with past events.

Trump’s fear Russia or China will invade and take control of Greenland unless we have it is absurd. Section 5 of the NATO Charter would require the US and the rest of the alliance to take action if the territory of a member nation is attacked. Russia and China know this, so an attack won’t happen.

As with baseball World Series records, this must be viewed in context. In Pele's era sixteen teams qualified for the World Cup. Way fewer matches. So his performance there was more dominating. Messi is also amazing of course. But saying he's better based solely on goals scored isn't valid.

If you think it was ethical to represent the American taxpayers in Trump's civil case against the government, forget Attorney General. Agreeing to settle the claim for a huge amount of money, plus tax evasion immunity, when the person suing the government can fire you, means he should be disbarred.

There are 2 ways we’ll see an individual no hitter. A pitcher might get 27 outs with 120 pitches if he induces weak contact early in at-bats, not many strikeouts. The Constitution protects us from dictatorship in several ways. One is that Congress controls spending. Saying that the Attorney General, who serves at the pleasure of the President, can settle a case with the President for $1.7 billion in unappropriated funds? No way that's constitutional.
