If I can't though it's REALLY gonna suck. I play Splatoon for the mental aspect of it and having that completely gone sucks everything I enjoy out of the game, not to mention this meta being both particularly unfun in a vacuum and also really unfavorable for Decav at this level

Even if I get out of this I'll still be the worst player on my team but it'll be far more exciting when I'll have actual takeaways from every game and when I'll be able to adapt to what's going on instead of being stuck autopiloting and hoping that it works out. Here's to hoping I can sleep better

And for the record, there's nothing wrong with dropping a game! I love Splatoon 3 but learning that took me working through two pvp games I don't like nearly as much. If you have the time, try other games out. Worst case you'll come to learn more about yourself and your true opinions on the game.

I don't follow the sentiment that the whole community is doomer just because we collectively dislike a patch, BUT with certain comments I've seen / certain accounts being 80% posts complaining about Splatoon, there are some people here who definitely should not be playing this game anymore LOL

Random thoughts - 52's nerf is prob meant to just nerf it in solo queue, not comp at all. Still needs gutted - The devs need to react harsher to ill-received metas rather than treating them all the same - I PRAY endgame S3 looks nothing like this. I don't want the game to be remembered for this

The S3 balance patch nature of nerf top tier main weapons + buff mid tiers + repeatedly buff low tiers w smaller changes across the board WILL trend the whole game closer to where upper mid-tiers started as the game progresses A weapon as overtuned as 52 eventually becoming top-tier was inevitable

I play Decav both because a slow, AoE-less, short-ranged weapon forces you to approach engagements very differently, plus I have a lot of good to say about the Splatana weapon class in general lmao
