#31HorrorShirts31Days Day 2 - TREEHOUSE OF HORROR What is your favorite segment? Mine is “The Shinning”

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 13m

#31HorrorFilms31Days 5. THE SACRAMENT I saw someone post watching this on Bluesky and I realized I hadn’t seen this in a while

#31HorrorFilms31Days 4. THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD I was inspired to watch this after my HALLOWEEN viewing last night

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 16h

#31HorrorFilms31Days 3. HALLOWEEN I always kick off and end October with a viewing (with at least 1 or 2 other watches happening sometime throughout the month)

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 16h

#31HorrorFilms31Days 2. THE DEVIL’S CANDY I had already seen this before but it’s worth a rewatch. Best thing about it is it gets going right away and then finishes up in a tight 80 minutes

Since I fell so fat behind on #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days , switching to my usual #31HorrorFilms31Days (where I can count any movie I watch). Let’s see how many over 31 I get to - my non-Covid year record is 128 from 2025 1. HALLOWEEN H2O Wanted a HALLOWEEN movie to start but saving the others

Kicking off the Holiday season the right way

It’s been a few years since I have done this, and I have bought a ton more shirts than the last time, so I am bringing back #31HorrorShirts31Days Day 1. Produced by Debra Hill (HALLOWEEN credits font)

I don’t post a lot on Bluesky and even more rarely post jokes and I just had my first “well, actually” comment on a joke and I blocked them right away and I felt the thrill that prolific Blueskyers must feel every day

It’s a glorious fall Friday and I am enjoying it with a cigar, a Jack and ginger and an 80s hip hop playlist on the front porch

I’m 100% rooting for the White Sox this playoff season

#100HorrorMovesIn92Days 36. SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE 2 1. Not nearly as salacious as that poster makes it look 2. I watched the Joe Bob version 3. I’m convinced that no Hollywood writers in the 80s ever saw any live music. The killer is a dude dressed like a metal dude but he sang Stray Cats songs?

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 35. BUFFET INFINITY I can’t really even say anything about this one as the lest you know going in the better. Just read the description on iMDB and if it sounds good to you, watch it. I liked it

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I’m rewatching ALIENS and the most unrealistic thing is that they thought people would still be smoking in 2179

000

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 34. RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION I actually liked 3 of the first 4 RE movies (the second one was trash) but this one crossed the line into “I liked it because it was so stupid” territory

030

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 33. RESIDENT EVIL (2026) I really liked this one - I wasn’t expecting it to have as much humor as it did, but it worked

030

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 32. Mimic I’m 52 years old and I have been watching horror movies most of my life. How have never seen this kick ass del Toro movie before????

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 32. THE OLD DARK HOUSE (1963) Not as good as the original but it’s not trying to be the same movie. I dug it

Driving around Clintonville with the windows down on my way to go out to breakfast, YOU OUGHTA KNOW comes on the radio and I’m singing along at the top of my lungs = a great start to a Saturday

There is a screening of ROBOCOP across the street with Peter Weller that sold out before I could get tickets and this football game is shit, so I am watching Robocop at home. This movie rules

010

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 30. WITCH STORY (almost a third of the way there with 44 days left until Halloween 😂) Not nearly as good as that art makes it look. Decently bloody but kind of slow - seemed way longer than its 90 minute run time

041

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 29. WATER PARK SHARK From the Sharknado guy, but this has none of the cheesy charm of the first one of those movies. It’s trying way too hard and it’s awful

040

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 28. RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE I liked this one too, but probably my third favorite of the 4 I have watched

030

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 27. RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION A big step UP from the second one

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 26. RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE A giant step down from the first one

030

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 25. THE OUTING Good but not great. I miss when movies would just have kind of cheesy looking practical effect monsters

030

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 24. RESIDENT EVIL (2002) With the new one coming out, I decided to start watching the series since I have never seen them. I thought this one was pretty good!

030

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Big backlog to get through… #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 22. FUNERAL HOME For some reason I thought I had seen this but I must be confusing it with something else. Anyway, it’s not good

130

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I usually wait until 10/1 for my first watch of this by I’m putting up Halloween decorations already so fuck it

It’s 2026 - why is anyone wearing loafers on the sidelines of an NFL game? Is Vince Lombardi coaching?

000

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

The Netflix NFL announcers are so bland that they are diminishing my interest in this game

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 22. HAUNTEDWEEN This one looked better and actually was better than I thought it would be, a few annoying frat boy characters aside

030

Count Derek-ula 🎃🧛🏻‍♂️ @dzack1.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

More catch up for #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 21. THE HANGING WOMAN They really threw everything into this one - ZOMBIES! A Hunchback! A Mad Scientist! A seance!

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 19. THE TAKING OF DEBORAH LOGAN This one was pretty creepy but they were really stretching to keep the found footage aspect going for the finale

Playing catch up for #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 18. GEORGE A ROMERO’S RESIDENT EVIL It was interesting but about 30 minutes longer than it needed to be

Every few years I mix this list up, but as of right now my top 5 favorite records of all time: 1. Beastie Boys - Paul’s Boutique 2. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 3. Beastie Boys - Check Your Head 4. The Clash - The Clash 5. The Smiths - The Queen is Dead

I think SHADRACK might be the best Beastie Boys song
