Just like using Forgotten Island to hate on Disney, using Hexed to attack Forgotten Island is equally as toxic and harmful to both sides. Again, this is why we need to be more aware of our behavior and not just focus on the targets because this is what makes animation discourses unbearable.

I think Disney is trying to be cautious about marketing Hexed, especially that it’s an original film and with what’s been happening with Forgotten Island at the box office. That or they’re probably gonna market Doomsday the hell out of it than something original like Hexed.

Might be a hot take, but they should commit to the narrative decisions Rise of Skywalker ended on, as awful as they were. If Batgirl becoming Oracle after being fridged in The Killing Joke is any indicator, it's very possible to spin a bad creative decision into something good going forward.

I'm rewatching Rings of Power and I always liked it, but season one works WAYYYY better knowing the answers to the mystery box bullshit of "who is Sauron, who is the Stranger" and just seeing all the hints where its leading, like all the nods in how Halbrand bis Sauron. It works 1000x better.
