This #ManCity situation is turning into a huge hole of problems. It will be terrible for the fans and to a certain extent the players too. But the owners and management have no recourse and deserve the very worst punishment. They deserve to be relegated, at the very least. Maybe more than one.

Your probably right. I might now need to use my Business Management degree and get back into an office environment in the future. I just don't feel that I make any difference now. Spoon feeding kids into passing exams is not what I bought into. That is not education! All the best. 🙂

I think that even the teaching and being with children part has run its course for me. Funnily enough, I enjoy the admin bit at end of the day more now. Love the planning and management bits more now.

I think 'tough job' is an understatement. I genuinly think 'almost impossible' is more like it. I am not suprised young people do not want to do it anymore or leave within a couple of years.

So tired. Teaching was never this hard before. 9-10 hour days straight through, no breaks. I used to be able to do this. Now I am feeling like it is totally unsustainable. Is it my age or is it my attitude to the job? #EduSky.

Just a reminder when Fuel Prices finally start going down, they won't go down. The Oil Companies and Supermarkets will add another 5p onto their profits, because why not, the Government won't do anything about it.

Virtually never check work emails for school on a weekend. I have about 20 emails (all of which I will totally ignore) from people that have been working all day setting up stuff so they can teach next week. Read that and tell me that teaching is a great career to be in! #EduSky

Just went through a very rural small village about 25 miles from the coast. A house had huge St George's Cross and Huge Reform UK flags. You cant tell me they have legitimate concerns about the impact of small boats. Probably just racist and ignorant. I doubt they were rich on this occasion.

I have told and explained to students what a cheque book is and they still have no concept. Very similar to when you explain getting on the Internet via a dial up connection. Totally blank faces. They just cannot relate to either.

I wonder if it simply that teaching is not sustainable. It unrealistic and unreasonable as a profession to do what teachers do.

Absolutely agree. It is actually my job as a union rep to do this and I do regularly. The problem is when they do nothing, or pay lip service, or just ignore. To be fair, it is not always leadership fully. Ofsted for example are causing most leaders to shit themselves and do odd things. 🤷‍♂️
