I also think he’s happy to look economically strong now even if the long-term impacts will be devastating. Climate change is expensive. Wealth inequality is expensive. These are the LONG TERM consequences of his bid to attract as much money as he can right now at any cost.

There's a reason previous Liberal governments looked at privatizing airports and didn't go through with it. Private investors don't want a stake in our public assets to make them better. They’re in it to make as much money as possible for themselves - while workers and passengers pay the price.
