Full table setup. An impulse buy of sorts, I have immediately learned that I am better prepared for a half length setup, and I don't have so much variety of offerings as would demand a full table. Come visit me in an hour at The Parkdale Hall!

Apropos of a thread I saw earlier with an artistic depiction of prototaxites. They vaguely reminded me of this standing stone from the Hills of Tara, but taller. live.staticflickr.com/22/35585973_...

Around that time I also got a snap of this older building, the Royal Alexandra Theatre, across from which I would coincidentally get my ride home after 5pm on Sunday.

But I knew that I was facing toward Roy Thomson Hall most of the day, which helped somewhat. And some folks were savvy enough to keep their number-plates outside the seal of the tent, which provided clues. I found my place eventually.

This is a celebratory flame in the middle of a pool. I was wandering David Pecaut Square on Sunday morning, before most other exhibitors had arrived, so a few of my photos are from that time. I was having difficulty finding reference points that would give away where my tent was, even with a map.
An eternal flame burns on a pedestal in the middle of a shallow pond. A commemorative plaque is in the foreground, while closed white tents are visible in the background.

Bugs were frequent visitors. Most were just passing through (which was good given how many were bees/wasps) but a particular red dragonfly loved to hang out. Not pictured, a monarch butterfly kept patrolling but didn't pose for me.

A woman with long brown hair stands before a carved wooden throne backed by a dark chiseled stone background. The woman's dress is brown with goldwork trim and white fur about the shoulders. She is making a gesture of some sort with her hands in front of her, wearing a few different rings. Her crown is made mostly of gold with a red stone at the forehead and gold chain attachments hanging like earrings next to her head; the crown is topped with short antlers. A couple of gold necklaces hang down to her bust, one of which has a predator's large pointed tooth as its pendant. She has light peachy skin and some blush or makeup about her cheeks. Title text near her lap reads Alathea: Goddess and Empress. Smaller author text below that reads Dylan Madeley.
