I think that AI is a big part of the problem. But I think the core is private equity. I work(ed) in film and television and my experience was that PE came in and stripped everything for parts to lower costs and are trying to pump up value with future promises of AI generated content.

This is literally the job people reference as being the lowest skilled job imaginable. And AI is at least as bad at it as humans. FYI I supported myself working multiple fast food jobs in my late teens early twenties. I have a tremendous amount of respect for fast food workers.

They will not listen. They do not care about anyone but themselves. They are actively trying to hurt my friends and family. I don’t care if they are too stupid and selfish to understand the consequences of their actions. After Trump’s 1st term, they could no longer say they were fooled.

Honestly I’ve been there. I was 99% sure there wasn’t really a demon, but we did a smudge and some feng shui stuff around the house and things seemed to cool off. It made us feel better, to experience the illusion of control. I was ready to look for a bruja, but how do you find a reputable one?

I think the focus is on ownership and control. Where to build the fence. How to implement access in ways that intermingle with other owned things (yachts, helicopters, vehicles). Using access for control of people (parties, houseguests, romantic partners). Status with other wealthy people.
