Thanks to Will Bunch for reminding me that so much of what comes from right-wing voices only wants to take me off track. Their outrage shouldn't be mine. I have only one job: VOTE. Vote to silence the right and put them back under their rock. www.inquirer.com/columnists/a...

Again I have to ask. If Pumpkin Spice is so great, then why don't we have pumpkin spice this and that all year long? Like George Carlin said, if "Winston tastes good like a cigarette should," so how come there's no tobacco flavored ice cream?

No more Monday Night games for the Eagles, please. Their nonexistent pass coverage just made a 61 year old 3rd-stringer who hasn't played in a football game since 1987 look like a sure Hall of Famer. Next up: LA Rams, who also have to figure out a few things.

The good news (for Phillies fans) is that the Phillies are up 7-1 halfway through the 6th inning. The bad news is that Zach Wheeler has thrown 96 pitches and is likely done for the day.

As expected, our new budget payments for heating oil in the coming year is up. Way up. Like, 70% up. Add this to our electric bill being up 33% over last year, and Donald John Trump is costing us real money. November 3.

My super-helpful electric company sends me email advice on cutting down on our electricity use. I guarantee, there is nothing that we are doing differently that would cause our electric bill to be 50% higher than it normally was. It's not us. I guess I would call this "gaslighting."

Back in Trump's first term, he made a great show of the "Republican Healthcare Plan." (It was a pile of blank paper.) It was coming out in two weeks. We've been asking now for 10 years, where is it? They cut $1,000,000,000,000 in health benefits. That's their plan. And it'll hit very soon.

Fox is drooling over Dak Prescott again. I take it the Cowboys won a game. Just a reminder, Fox - 30 YEARS. In the case of Prescott, 10 years leading the "elite" Dallas Cowboys with only two playoff wins to show for it. TWO. Every stinkin' year...

So now Trump's proposed Arch will be bristling with military hardware? He really must fear a popular uprising. Just as the GOP will gerrymander, change the rules, basically cheat to win elections RATHER THAN REASSESS THEIR POLICIES AND PLATFORM, Trump will arm D.C. rather than change course.

Penn State v. Buffalo was 34-6 at the half, I believe, so I decided to cut the grass. Since I'm old, I can't do both front and back in one day any more (well, I could, but… ouch). So I did the front. Vertical cut. Never cut the same pattern twice in a row.
