As an Alzheimer doctor, the horror of this is that this is the golden age of Alzheimer’s disease. We now have a beach head in this war. We can modify the disease course and change biologic destiny. This is exactly the wrong time to stop public funding.

Wow, GREAT thread. Thank you. Given that we see APOE44 in 1-2% of the population and about 15% in AD trials, I concur with the risk being about 6 fold higher. And LOVE what you said about relative risk to APOE3 vs2. This is a REALLY interesting topic, want to present it to American docs?
