OTD 60 yrs ago, French President Charles de Gaulle observed the 120-kt Betelgeuse nuclear test at Mururoa Atoll. Due to de Gaulle’s reported impatience, the balloon-tethered test proceeded despite warnings of adverse winds, showering Western Samoa, Fiji, and the Cook Islands with radioactive rain.
A black and white photograph of President Charles de Gaulle (far right, hands resting on a console) observing the Betelgeuse test from the bridge of the De Grasse, a French cruiser and the command ship for the test. The device detonated 25 miles away. Four other men are with him. All are dressed in protective coveralls, and two have protective goggles around their necks (for safely viewing the earliest stages of the explosion.A color photograph of the earliest stages of the greenish-yellow Betelgeuse fireball, which casts a glow over the ocean below. Three of the wire tethers securing the balloon are turning to bright plasma (the "rope trick" effect).

Thoughts on Storm Shadow/SCALP license and blueprints for UA. 1) Unlikely that such production could realistically be set up on UA territory in the current situation. No need to talk about concealment of actual missiles deliveries either: no one makes any secrets of the missile transfers.
