My son’s Pinewood Derby car “Highlighter Shark.” I’ve been encouraging my kids to aim for the design award instead of trying to make the fastest car, because after several years of this I’ve realized we’re not beating the engineering dads who design these things in AutoCAD

Happy to say the new Rugrats NES game (w/ co-op) is a hit with my kids. Then one thing led to another, and I ended up beating Duck Tales for the first time in 30+ years. I was a bit rusty. My oldest played through Remastered a few months ago and actually had to give me directions 😬

Before I had enough Famicom cartridges to make a rainbow for the game shelf, I kept them in this big pink audio cassette case. My favorite thing about Famicom carts are the colors, but my second favorite is that they fit perfectly inside these things
