OK I haven't been updating on this for a while but I did end up buying a separate RAM kit. For the first time since I started doing regular MemTests, I have a PASS at the 2 month mark! Though I had been somewhat avoiding RAM-intensive scenarios this time. Gonna let myself play Minecraft again soon.

Got a new motherboard and when I went to swap it out I noticed I had a standoff in the wrong spot 🤦🏽‍♂️ Anyway I tested my RMA'd RAM and my system's all in order again. Though I'm gonna keep MemTesting for a while to catch it early if there's still something wrong

Inside of my computer case, mostly empty except for some wiring. A standoff has been moved from its previous, incorrect place (marked with an X) to the correct spot a bit further down (marked with a green checkmark).

Wasn't able to update the BIOS through the physical button, but doing it from within the bios itself worked fine. Memtest86 still gives errors. And this is TuxTimings with the new bios, looks very similar. Seems GDM is now enabled and command rate changed from 2T to 1T?

And in terms of the live voltage view I did find github.com/Death4two/Tu... which, assuming I've installed everything correctly, does give me some voltages, but seemingly not all of them. And I've no clue what most of those acronyms mean yet but here they are

Ok so I ran the test with the lower frequency and it still failed, but the errors did drop significantly from 1716 down to 645.

I saw that you can play Switch 2 tabletop with wired Ethernet thanks to the new port on the top, and got reminded that at one point this is how I used to do it

Switch 1 in a makeshift stand made out of a box of Ritz crackers. The box has a cutout where the Switch sits at an angle and a hole at the front where the Ethernet adapter is feeding in to reach the port at the bottom of the Switch.
