And in English... Demon City, the greatest horror TTRPG ever, is here. You can buy it as a printed book or as PDF. diy-rpg-productions.myshopify.com/collections/... It's amazingly good, beautiful, and fun to use. Go get it.

I spent the last two months preparing to fully explore the Cube World. I read the Maze of the blue medusa (which I only had skimmed) and I finally started planning my west marches style starting in the Nothern Continent with Frostbitten and mutilated....

Thats a difficult to answer. I hates all my last watched movies. The last one I watched was Beast. Had Idris Elba. Love that actor. What a terrible movie.

Great letter in today's Guardian. What sort of free speech is prevented by factchecking, Zuck?

I made this. A collection of magic items for your tabletop RPG. Written for LotFP, should be good for any D&D retroclone. And a fast and easy generator for making up magic weapons, rings and stuff on the fly. Pay what you like. Have a good game in the new year. www.drivethrurpg.com/product/5063...

I know what you mean. I have been reading one piece for the past year. It does have great moments and has a lot of subtext about politics, sociology and literature. I highly recommend reading the manga instead of watching anime.

@tsevelev.bsky.social interesting. I still dont have a preferred way to do this.

Thanks - I know very little of this franchise and I have been wanting to understand a bit more.

Specific for the lotfp I like death frost doom. It brings the best of inspiring adventure design and sets the mood that seems intended for this particular system.

Did ya ever run the maze of the blue medusa? I’m reading it in preparation to set it in a west marches style campaign. I think i just figured where to add the false chanterelle painting

There was one RPG book project that I wanted to have, and couldn't, because the author and prospective publisher were harassed and slandered. Now I do have it. Enter the Nympharium. Let the violence begin. #TheCompendium

@t5un4m1.bsky.social You didn't ask me but I'll answer anyway: I Think Vornheim or The Lost Dungeon of Tonisborg. How about yours?

Yeah, the portraits reveal some details about the characters personality. This helps me improvise their demeanors and voices. And then helps me remember my improvisations.

@coral-wave.bsky.social I have a few FL products. I tend to like Forbidden Lands and Alien layout and organization. Specially the Alien book. Very cinematic. But I dislike the bunch of d6s rolls lol

@sector14.bsky.social yeah and Zak is very visual in his layouts - usually you'd want to skew and twist his books while looking at it

@sector14.bsky.social no i'm not... but i'm starting to plan a west marches campaign in the cubeworld. I want to connect a few other dungeons I have been dreaming to see players die in. How about you?

I agree; we could argue this is true to any type of content; but, the appeal of actual play has a larger influence due to being a direct representation of gameplay - and one can watch this ignoring the context and be sucked in the 'side gig mentality' 'influencer/creator content' producing.

I have gotten to the point that my brain is trained on any SoMe algorithm. I feel I can guess what each and every content is going to be about in less than 1 second after being exposed to it

So looking forward to getting my hands on these 400 pages of pure LotFP-OSR-D&D-able goodness. (I have some of them as PDFs but, frankly, printed on paper they're much easier to use)
